With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl Hugh Sternberger Sr. in Bush, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 8, 2022 at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Louis and Nola Chategnier Sternberger; his wife Patricia W. Sternberger; and his siblings, Lois Blache, Christina Curtis, Gina Galiours and John August Sternberger.

He is survived by: his children, Karl H. Sternberger Jr. (Karen), Dustin W. Sternberger (Gina) and Blaise M. Sternberger (Tracy); his grandchildren, Charles, Karley, Corey, Grace, Kora, Mia, Sofia, Carter and Reagan Sternberger; and his siblings, Judy Munden, Mary Ellen Kabel, Ethel May Scallan (Steve), Edwin Louis Sternberger, Jr. (Cheryl) and Randy Sternberger (Linda). He is also survived by his sons and grandchildren.
