He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvina Guerrera Blackledge and Gilbert J Brown, Sr.; his stepfather Clois C. Blackledge, Sr.; and his brother Norman J. Brown. He is survived by: his siblings, Gilbert J Brown, Jr. (Karen), Patrick A. Brown (Stacy), Andy Brown, Gary Blackledge (Debbie), Willie Blackledge (Christy), Clois Blackledge Jr., Paul Blackledge (Rosanna), Stacy Brown, Joann Blackledge, Paula Ann Lemaire, Karen Mary K. and Kathy Blackledge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Through his donation of life, he can know that he was a great superhero and will live on through others.
