He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Jean Fincher Young; his sons, Ernest "Ernie" Rankin Young, Jr. (Barbara "Barbie"), Robert "Terry" Terrell Young (Carla), John "Travis" Young (Tonya) and James "Jamie" Lee Young (Brandy); his brothers, George Steven Young and James Young; and his grandchildren, Tara, Terrina, Jennifer, Russell, Crystal, Casey, Terrel, Joseph, Daniel, Aaron, Ashlin, Trindon and Lily.
