He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his brother Donald Rodriguez of Cedar Park; his nephew Donald Rodriguez Jr. (Natisha); his niece Tammy Styer (Tom); and his stepchildren, Tanty Avant (Jeanne), Tricia Breaux (Chad) and Donald Avant (Angela). He is also survived by four step grandchildren.
