He was predeceased by: his parents, Howell Wilkins Sr. and Cora Mae Riley Wilkins; his sister Carolyn Elizabeth Wilkins Richey; his son-in-law Brenton Thomas Naquin; and his granddaughter Emily Erin Wilkins.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Buras Wilkins; his children, Connie Wilkins Naquin and Michael (Breck Wilkins); his grandchildren, Hope Wilkins Becnel (Brandt), Lauren Naquin and Madison Wilkins (Nathan Randazzo); and his great grandchild Nathan Reed. He is also survived by other loving nieces and nephews.
