He is survived by: his spouse LouBertha Gaines-Young; his children, Edmond Young of Opelousas, Jessie R. Young (Latisha) of Morrow, Richard L. Young (Latrice) of Morrow, Sterling R. Coleman, Sr. (Kimberly) of Ville Platte, Clifton J. Young, III (Nancy) of Morrow, Joshua Armstrong (Sharice) of Bunkie, Carolyn Young of Opelousas, Angie Byrd (Jessie) of Alexandria, Janice Armstrong and Jessica Armstrong of Bunkie; his siblings, Sandra Campbell (Leroy) of Bunkie, Mona L. Weston (Albert) of Morrow, Linda Young of Baton Rouge, Bertha Young of Houston, TX, Danny Young of Tyler, TX and Edmund Young of Bunkie; and his goddaughter Tameka Hagger of Lafayette. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
