With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy Garrett Harris of Bunkie, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Esther Dixon and Charlie Harris; his wife Yolanda Marie Harris; his brother Lawrence Harris; and his grandparents, Lee Anner Horn, Hezekiah Dixon, Alberta Dancer and Sova Harris.
He is survived by: his children, Cedric Chambers of Leonville, Lakenya Ann Harris of Beaumont, TX, Lanicia Denee Harris of Beaumont, TX and Tim'eeka Shanae Beverly of Tulsa; his siblings, Lorenzo Garrett, Mary V. Harris, Craigie H. Harris and Pamela K Harris; his grandchildren, Ma'kel Mayes, Juleana Guajardo, Ma'keyla Harris, Ma'kyela Harris, Zailynn Thibodeaux, Jazlynn Chambers and Kenzi Scott; and his wife's children, Misty Johnson, Cristal Arvie and Elijah Arvie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (108 N Lexington Ave, Bunkie, LA 71322). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
