He is survived by: his children, Linda Deville of Ville Platte, Thomas "Slim" West (Rhonda) of St. Landry, James West (Renee') of St. Landry and Mark West (Alicia) of Bayou Chicot; and his sister Mary Hayes of Bunkie. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
