She was predeceased by: her husband John Leo Cecil; her son-in-law Brent David Pecue; her parents, Walter George, Sr. and Norma Couvillion Dopson; and her siblings, Walter Dopson, Jr., Gilbert Dopson, Cecil Dopson, Sr., Mae D. Lemoine and Shirley D. Barton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Elizabeth Cecil Prevot of Evergreen and Sara Lee Cecil Shields (Charles Roby) of Baton Rouge; her granddaughters, Sara Em'Lee Prevot and Susanna Lee Shields; her stepgrandsons, Charles Roby Shields, Jr. and William Hillary Shields; her great grandchildren, Landon John Bryce, Lilee Danielle and Leo Buvens; and her stepgreat-grandson Liam. She is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews and sisters-in-law.
