It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandy Cheaney Kojis of Bunkie, Louisiana, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe E. Cheaney and Lois Sessums Cheaney. She is survived by: her daughters, Shannon K. Fender (Gary) of Bunkie and Tiffany Underwood of Rockwall, TX; her siblings, Richard "Dicky" Cheaney (Lisann) of Covington and Leesa Cheaney of Mandeville; her grandchildren, Taylor McClain (Keith), Elyse Fender, David Fender, Joshua Fender, Shelby Underwood and Madison Underwood-May (Samuel); and her great grandchildren, Loxley, Ripley and Hendrix.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to St. Anthony Catholic School, 116 S. Knoll, Bunkie, LA 71322.
