He is survived by: his wife Suzette Rachal Dufour of Bunkie; his children, Elizabeth Dufour of Lafayette, Nicole Dufour of Fairbanks, AK, Travis Dufour (Lauren) of Youngsville and Ben Dufour of Bunkie; his grandchildren, Mia Beard (Juilian), Jake Dufour, Grant Dufour and Suzette Suleiman; and his sisters-in-law, Bobbie Dufour and Judy Cooper.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthonoy of Padua Catholic Church (409 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322). A rosary will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie (302 St John St, Bunkie, LA 71322).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
