He was predeceased by: his parents, Reece Joseph, Sr. and Pearl Bordelon Normand; his sisters, Sheila Normand and Juliette Johnson; and his nephew Robbie Bordelon.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Ortego Normand of Bunkie; his children, Stephen Normand (Chanda) of Alexandria, Jerrod Normand (Kayla) of Bunkie, Rebecca Lyles (Stewart) of Bunkie and Melissa Smith (Ken) of Atlanta, TX; his siblings, Randy Normand of Bunkie and Judy Bordelon (Gerald) of Alexandria; his grandchildren, Mallory Ogea Scarbrock (Shawn), Gary Ogea, II, Caroline Lyles, Jay Normand, Matthew Lyles, Abby Normand, Adelynn Normand and Carson Normand; and his great grandchild Stella Scarbrock.
