He was predeceased by: his wife Juliette Gagnard Redmon; his grandson Jonathan Lyons; his parents, Louis E. Redmon and Gladys Morgan Redmon; his brother William "Snookie" Redmon; and his brother-in-law Jack Horton.
He is survived by: his children, Connie R. LaPrairie (Bobby) of Bunkie, Carolyn R. Lyons (Tommy) of Slidell and Buddy Redmon (Connie) of Bunkie; his siblings, Roy Redmon (Geisla) of Round Mountain, TX, Linda Horton of Leesville and Nelwyn Mills (William) of Bunkie; and his grandchildren, Bryan LaPrairie (Carmen), Brandon LaPrairie (Kim), Brady LaPrairie (Amber), Jason Redmon (Robert), Casey Redmon (Billie Jo), Valerie R. Plauche (John), Sara Lyons and Lauren Lyons (David Rouse). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Bunkie or Church of the Little Flower in Evergreen.
