He is survived by: his wife Betty Nash Williams of Bunkie; his children, LeShelle Anita Williams of Alexandria and John Wesley Williams, IV (Sharita) of Elgin, TX; his sister Frances Green of Houston, TX; and his grandchildren, Imani Nia Williams, Braeden Van Lucas Pressley, John Wesley Williams and Elgin Alexander Anderson, Jr..
