He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Deshotel and Else Frank Deshotel. He is survived by: his wife Janice Phillips Deshotel of Bayou Jacque; and his brother Henry Deshotel (Christie) of Bayou Jacque. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
