He was predeceased by: his former wife Earnestine Troha Fontenot; his son Allen Stacey Fontenot; his grandchildren, Allen Stacey Fontenot, Jr. and Bailey Victoria Prejean; and his parents, Felecian Fontenot and Mary Fontenot.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Turner Fontenot of Bunkie; his children, Jeffrey Scott Fontenot (Shana) of Bunkie and Rhonda Fontenot Prejean (P. J.) of Bunkie; his stepchildren, Gerard Moreau, Angela Cullen and Lisa Moreau; his sister Audrey Ardoin of Baton Rouge; and his grandchildren, Miranna Prejean, Zane Prejean, Scotty Fontenot and Bliss Fontenot. He is also survived by 7 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
