He is survived by: his wife Candy Flake; his daughters, Martine Flake of Pensacola, FL, Skar High of Austin, TX, Bella Flake of Gulf Breeze, FL, Lina Midkiff of Columbus, TX and Jade Flake of Bunkie; his brother Edwin Flake III (William "Bill" Flake) of Bunkie; and his grandsons, Dean and Sam.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Episcopal Church (401 S Lexington Ave, Bunkie, LA 71322).
