He was predeceased by: his wife Estelle Williamson Norris; his children, Wendy Hawkins, Carolyn Sue Hurst and Johnny Paul Williamson; and his parents, Hale Norris and Willie Bamburg Norris.
He is survived by: his children, Helen Toups (Donald) of Splendora, TX, Vernon L. Norris (Nancy) of Centerpoint and Melvin Norris of Marksville; his grandsons, James Hurst0, Paul Toups, Christopher Norris and Ryan Hawkins; and his great grandchildren, Slade Benson and Christopher Faith. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
