He was predeceased by: his wife Antoinette "Toni" Blalock; his parents, Johnnie Blalock and Elsie Meadows Blalock; and his siblings, Jean Blalock Kojis, Bernadine Blalock Toups, Johnny Blalock, Leon Blalock and Leo Blalock.
He is survived by: his children, Leisha Lindsey of Bunkie, Marlene Hernandez (Greg) of Bunkie, Belinda Vogel (Chris) of Bunkie, Lonny Lindsey (Rose) of Bunkie, Tony Linsey (Rita) of Arnaudville and Gilbrt Blalock, II of Forest Hill; and his brothers, Richard Blalock (Alice) of Zachary and Dale Blalock of Zachary. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
