She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Ford and Katie Harris Carter, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert Dean McGlone of Big Cane; and her siblings, David Chatman (Ella Rose) of Big Cane, Robert Carter (Bessie) of Big Cane, Waneita Stelly (Curley) of Big Cane, Dalton F. Carter, Jr. of Opelousas and Elwood Carter (Sue) of Morrow. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
