He is survived by: his wife Jackie Borne Pfeifer; his children, Paula Pfeifer-Rubin (Aaron), Troy Pfeifer (Missy) and Callie Jo McKinney (Collin); his stepchildren, Charles "Beau" Holmes, III and Brittani Holmes; his grandchildren, Courtney Norte, Tyler, Cole Somers, Kirstin Rohner, Brandi Zimmer, Cashel, Rylan, Presley McKinney and Kaellum Prejean; and his brother Roy Pfeifer (Michele). He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
