He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter D. Landry, Sr. and Beatrice Whaley Landry; his brother Darrell "Boss" Landry; and his sister-in-law Thelma Landry. He is survived by: his wife Lucy Peavy Landry; his sons, David Paul Landry (Anh Vu) and Whelman Joseph Landry; his grandsons, Grant Howard Vu Landry and Watson Vu Landry; his sister Katherine Landry Hymel; his sister-in-law Donna Peavy (Deborah Rochelle); his nieces and nephews, Jackie Mistretta (Bryan), Joni Russo (Scott), Jim Landry (Deanna), Dena Hymel, Darlene Ramirez, Caryl Hymel (Alisha Babin) and Dewayne Hymel (Donna); and his great-nephew Daniel Lusk.
