It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Aileen Hebert Sarradet Acosta of Brusly, Louisiana, born in Plaquemine, Louisiana, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Julie Sarradet Lemoine; her stepdaughter Kay Marie Acosta; her grandchildren, Anne Marie Acosta and William Acosta; her great grandchild Brinley Slayton; her parents, James Hebert and Pansy Hebert; and her siblings, Sherman Hebert, Joyce Matthews, Gary Hebert, Carolyn Sarradet and James Hebert.
She is survived by: her husband John L. Sarradet; her children, Stacie Sarradet Coffey (Frank), Christine Sarradet Hebert (Owen) and Stephen Sarradet (Michele); her stepson Thomas Acosta, Jr. (Mary); her son-in-law Kim Lemoine; her grandchildren, Jeremy Coffey (Dara), Jonathan Coffey (Candice), Jason Coffey (Erica), Brian Lemoine (Rishma), Michelle Slayton (Joshua), Marissa Taylor, Zachary Hebert (Kerri), Lauren Baudean (Everett), Darren Hernandez, Cameron Sarradet (Ethan) and Jonell Picou (Tyler); her sisters, Ruth Gascon and Elaine Kirkland; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Anita Tullier, Shirley Hebert, Joyce Hebert, Mardell Loup (Raymond) and James Sarradet (Dot). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
