He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal "Roy" and Mamie Stowers Kane; and his siblings, Billy, Jim and Jane.
He is survived by: his wife Betty LeJeune Kane; his children, Danny B. Kane of Brusly, Danette K. Willis (Earl) of Brusly and Vicki K. Strickland (Danny) of Brusly; his sisters, AnnaBeth K. Chiek and Patricia K. Castenada; his grandchildren, Brittany Vincent (Anatole), Courtney Purpera (Dale Jr), Parker Addison Willis and Kinley Grace Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Drake, Cooper, Alyce Vincent, Coy, Dailyn and Kace Purpera. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in his memory.
