He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Jewell and Gertrude Morel Jewell; and his siblings, Winnie Priester, Paulette Beatty, Milton Jewell, Russell Jewell, William "Billy" Jewell and Mark Jewell.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Jean Hunter Jewell; his daughters, Ashley Jewell and Brittany Lynn Jewell; and his siblings, Rodney Jewell, Judy Penton, Andrew Jewell (Eva), Susan Poche' (Glen), Leslie Jewell, Kent Jewell (Cheryl) and Bernadette "Bernie" Abadie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
