He is survived by: his grandchildren, Hannah, Audrey, Emma and Nathan; his uncle Jackie; his aunt Yvonne; his wife Lauren Ward Scroggins of Indian Bayou, Louisiana; his children, Dax O'Toole (Larri) of Tyler, Texas, Joshua Scroggins (Amy) of Indian Bayou, Louisiana and Lara Scroggins Mosbroker (Norvil) of Port Allen; and his siblings, Wayne Scroggins (Caren), Terry Scroggins (Shirley), Kerry Dean Scroggins, Gene Tant, Jr, Debbie Tant Ferrell (Leonard), Teresia Twomey and Sandra "Sam" Tant Holt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
