She is survived by: her grandson Tyson; her daughter Francesca Gauff (Lucien) of LaPlace; her brothers, James C. Shay, Jr. (Maxima), Baltimore, Sean P. Shay (Dana) and Lafayette; and her grandson Terrance Tyson Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
