She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert James "Mack" McCarty and Helen Louis Rutledge McCarty; her siblings, Barbara Skinner (Bob), Judy Harrington (Lavelle) and Bobby Jay McCarty (Nina); and her former husband James William Gandy.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Shae Gandy Henderson; her grandchildren, Helen Henderson (Rachel) of Redding, CT, Kreider Henderson (Britton) of Gulfport, MS and Emily Henderson; and her son-in-law Kent Henderson (Tiffany). She is also survived by her family, friends.
