He was predeceased by : his parents, Pamela Margaret Leblanc Lené and Alcide Louis Lené; his sisters, Beverly Lené Doucet (Gabriel Doucet) and Barbara Lené Hebert (Robert Hebert); and his brother-in-law Arthur "Artie" Boudreaux III.

He is survived by : his wife Sharran Hebert Lené; his daughter Anne Katherine Lené (Jackson Moss); and his sister-in-law Rose Marie Boudreaux Hagle (Billy Ray Hagle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A rosary was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church (300 Pere Megret St, Abbeville, LA 70510). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
