With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lana Melancon of Broussard, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parent Dalcour Joseph Frame; her husband Roy J. Melancon; her mother Eugenia Bertrand Frame; and her sons-in-law, Charles Langlinais and Dean Carle.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Melancon (Rebecca), Dwayne Melancon (Ann), Gregg Melancon (Gretchen), Doug Melancon (Becky), Paulette Langlinais and Beth Carle Melancon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
