Lana Melancon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lana Melancon of Broussard, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 19, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Dalcour Joseph Frame; her husband Roy J. Melancon; her mother Eugenia Bertrand Frame; and her sons-in-law, Charles Langlinais and Dean Carle.
She is survived by: her children, Dwight Melancon (Rebecca), Dwayne Melancon (Ann), Gregg Melancon (Gretchen), Doug Melancon (Becky), Paulette Langlinais and Beth Carle Melancon. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Delhomme Funeral Home - Broussard Railroad (111 N Washington St, Broussard, LA 70518). A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (200 W Main St, Broussard, LA 70518). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery (2111 W Pinhook Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508).
