It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Louis Washington of Broussard, Louisiana, born in Lafayette, Louisiana, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence of Washington and Louis of Washington; his brothers, Raymond "Square" and Clifford "Day Day" Jacquet; his aunts and uncles, Hazel Jones, Nellie Ball (Mitchell), Mercedes St (Morris), Arthur Roy, Jr. (Hazel), Herbert Jones (Martha), Leroy (Elizabeth) of Washington, Willie B (Hazel) of Washington, Raymond (Anna Mae) of Washington and Mervin of Washington; and his grandparents, Gustave, Amanda Jones, Charlie and Bertha (Lavonne Cohee) of Washington.
He is survived by: his daughter Rachel Jolivette (Martin Henry); his grandchildren, Browntell Sinegal and Brownisha Sinegal of Lafayette, LA; his siblings, Brenda of Washington, Lesia of Broussard, LA., Glenn "Mizer" of Washington, Paul "Rickey" of Broussard, LA, Gerald "Jerry" of Washington and Steven "Spike" of Baker, LA.; his aunt Diann Foster (Dan) of Broussard, LA; his goddaughters, Florence "Mitzi" Holloway and Temika "Pumpkin" Atkins of Washington; and his friends, Donald Lewis, Harold Anderson, Curtis Alfred and Marshall Toliver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and relatives, cousins.
