He is survived by: his wife Elma Fern Aycock Dauzat; his daughters, Barbara Dauzat Sampson (Jon) and Angelia "Angie" Dauzat Coon; his granddaughters, Gloria Coon, Amber Sampson and Emily Sampson; and his brother Steve Dauzat (Gayle). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
