She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Desselle and Emma Bordelon Desselle; her husband Talmit Blanchard; her siblings, Elmo "Buck" Desselle, Holland "Pete" Desselle, Florence Desselle, Emaline Beauclair and Lena Desselle; and her son-in-law Terrell Normand.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Blanchard (Rachal) of Texas City, TX and Elaine Normand of Marksville; and her siblings, Sam Desselle (Nettie) of Marksville, Jason "Brud" Desselle of Bossier City and Lilly Desselle of Tioga. She is also survived by three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
