It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willis J. Babin of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, who passed away on July 31, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Ella Babin; his parents, Evain Babin and Armance Wiltz Babin; and his siblings, Evelyn Clement, Anna Mae Abraham, Milton Babin, Dalfred Dalcourt and Joseph Babin.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Belle Wiltz Babin; his children, Dora Babin, Gwendolyn Galentine (Clifford), Robert Vallier, Jr. and Rodney Vallier (Rochelle); his grandchildren, Demetric Babin, Willie Babin, Charmaine Vallier, Roderick Vallier, Brannon Galentine, Bethanie Galentine, Devin Vallier and Bryson Vallier; his sisters, Audrey Wiltz and Ethel Broussard; and his goddaughter Linda Abraham. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
