He is survived by: his mother Agnes Demouchet-Batiste; his children, Joshua Marshall, Cedric Batiste (Brittanie Wiltz), Jaleel Batiste (Traylon) of St. Martinville and Terence Batiste (Victoria) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Daaron, Ja'Nyia, Da'Kyron, Devron, Devon Marshall, Syrai, Cassidy, Ethan, Drew, Mila, Jay, Ty'lin and Jhace Batiste; his siblings, Prenella Batiste-Charles of Lafayette, Norma James (Raymond), Tammy Lewis of St. Martinville, Louisiana, Lionel, John Allen Batiste of Breaux Bridge, Arthur Batiste (Jeanice) of Lafayette and Camille Batiste (Shirley) of Evans, Georgia; his godchildren, Nakia Batiste-Green, Keyra Adams and De'Liyah Williams; his aunts, Sophie Shy and Linda Ledet (Wil Bradley) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; and his uncle James Demouchet. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
