She was predeceased by: her husband Wilfred "Loon" Poirier; her parents, Clodis Huval and Anita Guidry Huval; her siblings, Ernest, Roland, Paul Huval, Loula Mae Delahoussaye, Lois Blanchard, Mable Boyer and Georgia Delahoussaye; her son-in-law Matt Johnson; and her great grandchild McKenna Poirier.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Poirier (Gail) of Gerald, Kenneth, Randy "Tublanc" Poirier (Shelly), Terry "PeeWee" Poirier (Sharon), Becky Haydel (Scott) and Susan Johnson; her brother Steve Huval; and her grandchildren, Scottie, Megan, Paxton, Sandy, Lacy, Kristie, Natasha, Keisha, Khloe, Jason, Sherry, Tara and Alexis. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the St. Bernard Cemetery No. (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
