She is survived by: her husband John Shy; her children, Tanya Shy and Michael Nicholas; her siblings, James Demouchet, Agnes Batiste and Linda Ledet (Will); her grandchildren, Tyler, Ebony, Quincy and Jamie Shy; and her godchildren, Patty Williams, Cashin Demouchet, Travis Alexander, Carmella Demouchet and Phillip Demouchet, Jr..
