He was predeceased by: his sons, Terry Cormier and Keith Cormier; his parents, Margarite Bellaire Cormier and Gerard Cormier; and his siblings, Jerome Cormier, Emile Cormier, James Cormier, Germaine Brasseaux and Inez Patin.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Savoy Cormier; his children, Dennis M. Cormier (Eirinn), Kenneth C. Cormier (Sharon) and Sandra C. Stelly (Tony); his brother Ernest Cormier (Janelle); his sister-in-law Bernita Cormier; his grandchildren, Rolland Guillot (Ashley), Jordan Guillot (Kayla), Ryan Cormier, Cody Cormier (Lindsey), Amanda Thomley (Michael), Justin Cormier (Amber) and Emelyn Cormier; and his great grandchildren, Lexi Guillot, Landon Guillot, Payton Cormier, Clara Cormier and Simon Thomley.
Masses may be offered for the repose of his soul to St. Bernard Catholic Church (219 E. Bridge St. Breaux Bridge, LA 70517), or donations may be made in Simon's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Breaux Bridge VFW & American Legion, P O Box 1024, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.
