He is survived by: his son Melvin Laday (Gabrielle); his sisters, Deena Bernard (Anthony), Alma Alexander, Delores Joseph (Shelton), Rita Demouchet, Deborah Hypolite and Diedra Hypolite; and his grandchildren, Grayson and Kallie Laday.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (610 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery (610 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
