She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Chester Sonnier (JC); her parents, Emilien Faucheaux and Uranie Castille Faucheaux; and her brothers, Joseph "Edwin" Faucheaux and George Faucheaux.
She is survived by: her son Robert Neil Sonnier, Sr. (Gloria); her grandsons, Robert Sonnier, Jr., Christopher Sonnier and Michael Sonnier; her son Ronald "Ron" James Sonnier (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Matthew Sonnier, Erika Schultz and Alana Adams; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb Sonnier, Andrew Sonnier, Kathryn Sonnier, Eli Sonnier, Mia Schultz, Ophelia Trahan, Leona Schultz and Wyatt Schultz.
