She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Chester Sonnier (JC); her parents, Emilien Faucheaux and Uranie Castille Faucheaux; and her brothers, Joseph "Edwin" Faucheaux and George Faucheaux.
She is survived by: her son Robert Neil Sonnier, Sr. (Gloria); her grandsons, Robert Sonnier, Jr., Christopher Sonnier and Michael Sonnier; her son Ronald "Ron" James Sonnier (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Matthew Sonnier, Erika Schultz and Alana Adams; and her great grandchildren, Kaleb Sonnier, Andrew Sonnier, Kathryn Sonnier, Eli Sonnier, Mia Schultz, Ophelia Trahan, Leona Schultz and Wyatt Schultz.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the St. Bernard Cemetery (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
