He was predeceased by: his parents, Clopha Prejean and Celestine Bergeron; and his son Todd James Prejean. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Arceneaux Prejean; his children, Doyle Jeoffrey, Angela Winn (Marcus) of Lafayette and Tina Bergeron; his godchildren, Jerry Thibodeaux, Jr., Jackie Prejean and Tammy Robin; and his siblings, Norris Prejean (Nellie) of Breaux Bridge and Hazel Bergeron (Ronald) of Breaux Bridge. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Melancon Funeral Home (4117 N University Ave, Carencro, LA 70520). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
