He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilton Brasseaux and Evelyn Guidry Brasseaux; his brother Kerry Brasseaux; his former wife Veronica "Shawee" Brasseaux; his stepson Tyler Johnson; and his grandparents, Alan, Cecile Brasseaux, Alta and Alexander Guidry.
He is survived by: his wife Lisa Brasseaux; his children, Christopher Brasseaux (Kendra), Tyler Brasseaux, Kayla Brasseaux and Kristy Ducharme (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Noelle Rine, Jordan Brasseaux and Taysom Brasseaux; his siblings, Tammy Fuselier (Steve, Jr.) and Kim Brasseaux (Laura); and his godchildren, Lee Brasseaux and Carson Fuselier.
