It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Bernard of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, who passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Payne (Roosevelt Payne Jr.); her nieces and nephews, Mark, Nathanial (Kareen Brooks), Bryant Noel (Syreeta Mitchell), Daniel Bernard (Keva Downey), Roosevelt Payne III (Alrica Joe), Keisha Qualls (Benny Qualls) and Crystal Sampson (Jeremone Sampson Sr.); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Curtis, Marque Brown, Spencer, Javana, Trey, Kevin Jr., Merical, Lloyd Noel, DeEdrick Cleveland, Craig Martin, Karee Martin, Brevon, Tylia Noel, Devron, Damare, Deijah Bernard, Brittany Bernard, Brianna, Bennie III, Bianca, Beniyah Qualls, Jeromone Jr., Jordan and Chloe Sampson; and her friends, Shirley, Janet Smith, Beverly Bonhomme, Lillian Mitchell (Lee Lee) and Judy Alexander.
