He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierre LaPorte, Sr. and Cecile Frederick; and his siblings, Eric LaPorte, Harry Patrick LaPorte (Norma), Marvin LaPorte, Rita Mae LaPorte Kidder and Janice LaPorte.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Begnaud; his daughter Myra Boudreaux (Joey) of Breaux Bridge; his grandchildren, Ty Boudreaux, Scotty Boudreaux, Tanner Boudreaux and Tad Boudreaux; his great grandchildren, Abigail Boudreaux, Mason Boudreaux, Chandler Boudreaux, Lincoln Boudreaux and Wesley Boudreaux; his brothers, Lloyd Pierre LaPorte (Arlene) of Tucson, AZ, Lee Roy LaPorte of Arnaudville and Carroll LaPorte of Arnaudville; and his sister-in-law Jeanette LaPorte of Arnuadville. He is also survived by twenty-one nieces and nephews.
