It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Dumatrait of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, who passed away on April 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Bobby Dumatrait (Jackie), Timmy Dumatrait (Leslie), Mark Dumatrait (Nellie) and Marcel Dumatrait (Lisa); her daughter-in-law Lorraine Dumatrait; her husband Edwin Dumatrait, Sr.; her son Edwin "Eddie" Dumatrait, Jr.; her parents, Sylvester Choate and Geneva Delino; her siblings, Walter James Choate and Joyce Romero; and her half-sister Shirley Fabre. She was also cherished by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
