He is survived by: his parents, Larry Thibodeaux and Sue Castex; his brother Mark Thibodeaux (Jody); his nephew Peter Thibodeaux (Emmy); and his great-nephews, Pierre Thibodeaux and Jacques Thibodeaux.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the St. Bernard Cemetery No. (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
