She was predeceased by: her mother Leatrice Broussard Charpentier; her stepparents, Allen Charpentier and Jeanette Blanchard; her close friend Roy Benoit; the father of her children Gary "Bimmie" Champagne; her niece Ashley Hebert; and her brother-in-law Ron Hebert.
She is survived by: her father Dieu Donne Blanchard; her children, Kristie Champagne (Chad Goins) and Travis Champagne (Tami); her grandchildren, Kennedie Bass, Aubry Bass, Preston Goins and Beckett Champagne; her great grandchild Lucy Bass; her siblings, Doreen Trahan, Tina Hebert, Melanie Blanchard, Danny Blanchard (Elaine), Dean Blanchard (Linda) and Kizzie Benoit; her nieces and nephews, Kariana "Buttercup" and Olivia; her sister Katie Belaire; her goddaughter Katie; and her cousin Elaine.
