She was predeceased by: her husband Lyness Frederick, Sr.; her parents, Cyriac Degeyter and Corrine Degeyter; her son David Frederick; and her siblings, Paul Degeyter, Cyriac Degeyter, Alfred Degeyter, Ann Dugas, Marylou Lassigne, Rita Domingue and Mary Claire Castille.
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Mestayer (Aaron) and Lyness Frederick, Jr. (Kimberly); her sister Marella Hefner; her grandchildren, Bryson Mestayer, Alyson Beslin (John), Ross Frederick (Shelly), Josh Frederick and Jessica Frederick; her great grandchildren, Kayne Frederick, Kadyn Frederick, Evin Frederick, Emily Frederick, Jack Frederick, Rhett Frederick, Brynn Savoie, Anna Savoie, Madelyn Beslin and Thomas Beslin; and her caregivers, Alberta, KayKay, Amy, Pam, Tiny, Dr. Debra Durham and Katie Hebert.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Pellerin Funeral Home - Breaux Bridge (211 Berard St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the St. Bernard Cemetery No. (204 N Main St, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517).
