He is survived by: his son Shane Champagne (Mary) of Breaux Bridge; his stepchildren, Vickie Melancon Guchereau (Butch) of Breaux Bridge, Judy Melancon Theriot (Harold) of Breaux Bridge and Larry Melancon (Denise) of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Shawntelle Bergeron (Carl) of Breaux Bridge, Cassidy Champagne of Breaux Bridge and Courtney Johnson (Angie) of Breaux Bridge; his stepgrandchildren, Anthony Hollier, Jamie Theriot, Angelique Bishop, Heather Schapansky and Lance Melancon; and his brother Eugene Champagne (Vienna) of Breaux Bridge. He is also survived by 6 great granddaughters; 6 step-great grandchildren.
