He is survived by: his wife Patsy Chiasson Dershem of Breaux Bridge; his children, Ray Dershem (Kim) and Renee Demette (Rayford); his siblings, Joyce Bressler, Dorothy Reeder, James Dershem (Nancy), Ruth Walk (Calvin) and Marian McKean; his sister-in-law Diane Dershem; his grandchildren, Dawn Curtis (Davis), Rachel Dershem, Daniel Dershem, Anthony Demette (Billie) and Amber Hawkins (Stefan); and his great grandchildren, Jasmine, Jordan, Joseph Curtis, Olivia Sigley, Jacelyn Melancon Demette, Adelynn and Jonas Hawkins.
